EV completes trip around Australia
WA motoring enthusiast Glen George has become the first person to circumnavigate Australia in an electric car. Mr George started his journey at Parliament House in Perth on August 21 and completed his 14,000km trip at the same venue on Sunday the 13th of November, reports The West Australian. The 67-year-old completed the feat in a 1956 MG TF sports car that has been converted to electric, powered by 45 lithium-ion batteries.
